I have seen that bag setup before!! Thought about using it on my dumb old dodge.... Thought it was a really neat setup!

This set up was built extremely stout for my set up. When I ordered it, I explained what I was using and that I was going to make it a suicide suspension. So Mike Waechter built this to handle all the weight it would be holding. Extremely pleased with it and if I decide to build another rig I will use this same set up.

Well worth the money.

As for the draw backs- because I wanted to do a suicide suspension, it made for a lot of engineering issues. I've had to rethink everything I've been doing all down the line.

Here is a side shot of the dash mocked up in the truck. Had to cut a lot out just to get it in there snug and still more to cut so it fits perfect.

I'm digging it, love grafting cool dash boards into truck cabs that had boring dashes originally!

bland dashes just don't do it for me. I also needed a dash that can accommodate lots of gauges and the 58-60 can do 5. The rest go in above the windshield.

On a side note, instead of working on my truck today, Mike (friend that helps out around the shop) sat down at my computer and designed this and painted it. He always comes up with neat ideas

The detroit skyline pics are pretty cool with the Renaissance Center in them...

Anyhow, how about some more progress pics for the picture hungry? [P[P[P

Progress......nope. I had a few projects that I have to finish for customers but I did pick this up today

Had to make a seattle skyline 8' long for a customer. It was so big that I couldn't fit the whole thing in the picture LOL

Here is the dash in my 37 Dodge pu. A 1955 Plymouth dash that I bought from Willowbilly a while back. Had to cut 7" off of each end and 7" out of the middle. SW Wings gauges fit in the old gauge pods with a little work.

Thats a very clean look! Love what you've done! I'm hoping that when I'm finished with my dash it will have just as clean of a look.

been too busy working on other things for customers that I doubt I'm going to get to working on it any time soon. Since I need a 61-67 Econoline axle, I'm kind of at a stand still. So since I wont have any updates for a little bit, I will at least show you some of the stuff I've been working on. :D

something for a customer of mine on the east coast

Been slammed with work so I haven't had much time to work on my truck. However, since today is my bday, I thought I would spend some alone time welding up the dash. Now that I'm finished welding it up, I will get it sandblasted and bondo it lightly.

On a good note, finally found an Econoline front axle. Paid for it now I have to pick it up.
