alrigh im thinkin about gettin a 1956 Packard executive with torsion level suspension.
what the hell is torsion level suspension?
how does it work?
how hard is it to take out and put bags in a car with torsion lvl?
How well does it work?

Torsion level suspension is one of the first forms of automatic ride leveling systems.
When you pile a lot of people or stuff in the trunk, the rear of the car sags.
Torsion leveling suspension senses this and levels out the car.

On the end of the torsion bar there is a little electric motor connected to it and when activated it twist's the torsion bar a little to increase the spring rate of the bar thus lifting the car back to level.

When the weight is removed the electric motor relaxes the spring/bar a little.

As far a bags are concerned, I'd say the torsion bar system is removed and the bag is placed on top of the axle.
