Has anyone used trailer springs on their project? I'm thinking about using them on my project rear axle as parallel leafs. Would use the double eyelet type. I can't see why there would be any issues . Any thoughts ?????

Still crazy after all these years!
They are short and stiff so the ride is harsh. I've used them though even with those shortcomings.

im going to try
im setting mine up for the smaller trailer springs, they are 1200 pound rated but im taking some leafs out to soften the ride, but mine is going on a 29 chevy pick up. not much weight there in the build. but i kinda built my frame where if i dont like it, wont be too hard to cut the back section off and turn it to a 4 link.

Once you get a leaf spring to about flat, the ride becomes an issue...
