The next rod I wanna build is going to be utterly low.....almost undriveable....... roadster:D

Let's see some "utterly low" rods out there...preferably roadsters!!

I'll start with my 36.....it's low........but not that low!

Hey Big Scott....I don't think they get much lower then this one from one of your fellow North Carolinians....I think the 3 year old standing next to it gives a good perspective

HaHa yeah I know that dude!!!! And yes....I've sat in that thing.....or should I say layed down!!! The craftsmanship on that sedan is unreal...top quality work...all the way down the the power windows :eek:

They look cool and all, but I don't think I'd have much use for a car that a speed bump could detour. My buick scrapes more than I like, ( just the bumpers and frame ) but that's mostly the streets in my little town.

Here is a couple of volksrods. They are driven.;) Mine was pretty low in the front, I got tired of it dragging all the time so I put some taller tires on it this summer.

No roadstersbut, a couple that I came across in the swap meet at Louisville this year.
The last one is as far as I could stuff my foot under the side of the pickup.

I know its not chop topped or body dropped but its got a 5" suspension drop... On smaller than stock tires... Driven daily...
