We had the chance to work on the Rod some more. Got the front spring perch mounted, fully welded the batwings and tightened all of the Spring mounts. We also went back and Fully welded the now shortened front Zs. Fully welded the front engine mounts, and rear transmission mounts. We still need to mount the split wishbones to the frame...

Pretty cool man you got my interest just wondering how far your gonna take the body like the fire wall are you gonna leave it or going with a more hot rod lookin fire wall or maybe take a 40 ford hood and fit that to the volks that might be cool mini 40

We are planning on trimming the firewall and putting in a flat piece there and the roof we are planning on chopping 3 or 4 inches. We have toyed around with the hood idea and that may happen. we don't have any sort of shaping tools and there really aren't any hoods out there that are even close to the right shape to work with but who knows. :)

Built the radiator grill today, we were looking for something a bit different, so I fabricated something from scratch. We made it out of 1/2" x 1/8" mild steel.

Fabricated the split end mounts. Ended up with about 5.5 degrees of caster, when the body is attached we should be at about 7 degrees.

Hey guys! It has been awhile since we updated this. (I live in UT, but the RR and my brother live in Bakersfield CA) My brother really has not had a chance to work on it...

My dad and I are planning on meeting in Bakersfield the week of June 18th so we can spend the week getting my brother's RR on the road.

I have begun working on some cable driven cut outs for the lake headers..so we can be quiet when we want, and run open headers when we want to get a little crazy..(and shoot flames) should have some pics of the header/cutout/flamethrower build up soon.

jmlcolorado> this year I'm not sure we got enough snow/water to keep the grass green, so we might be playing soccer in the dust!

Bought a Speedway Tubing bender with 1.75" die. Bent some pipe to support the body, attached it to the frame. Spent $100 on getting the driveline cut down and rebuilt. Had to trim the body a bit more.
