i pick these up while doing some work for the guy and asked if he wanted to sell them and when i first looked at them i was so wound up about the Hudson that i didnt get a good look at the Plymouth and was dissapointed when i went back because i thought that the Plymouth was a convertable but its not somebody just cut the top off and when i shot him a $150 price for the Hudson and told him i wasnt interested in the Plymouth anny more he told me he would sell me the Hudson for a $150 if i hauled them bolth out of there and i said shure the olny thing is they were about 100 miles away and i didnt have enough trailer to haul them bolth home so i came up with this ingenious plan and it worked and i was called the biggest redneck my buddy had ever seen and i said ( i am what i am and thanks for the complement ) but i think the pictures will speak for them selves and i will get some more up tomarow

If you've ever dpouble stcked cars on you trailer to get them home,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

You just might be a redneck !!!:D:D:D

Hey,,,,whatever it takes. you didn't happen to get both bumpers for that Plymouth . did you ?

Yep, I must be a redneck, too.
What a great car the Hudson is. A perfect rat rod, wouldn't be surprised if it was worth 1500 here, and even more in Fla.
The plymouth looks good topless.

As for the stack job.......way to go!

ooh i forgot to tell ya all about the best part the hudson has no frame they bolted a bunch of lumber to the body and put skis on it and hauled the kids to school behind horses if ya look at the pickures of the drivers side you can see whats left of the ski

it made it a pain in the a$$ to load because the ski slipped down off the trailer every time we set the front down so i tied the ski to the trailer useing a 5 foot extention cord i had in the pick-up it worked great and my buddy got a big kick out of that too

I was wondering why that car looked like it was on a sled. Nice score for a redneck:D. That Hudson has a really nice body style. I like it.

Great score!

Great redneck score! That is too sweet and I really love the coupe!

Congrats on the cars! South Dakota is such a great place to find old tin. I've found dozens of cars and trucks of every description up there at some great prices. Unfortunately, the prices aren't so great that I can afford to bring any back to Tennessee!

The "sckool bus" story was cool. I bought a '29 sedan from a guy that had used it for years as an ice fishing house. It was on skids which made it real easy to wench up on the trailer.
