What frame should fit?

Does anyone know what frames a 53 chevy car can be mounted on w/o too much hassel? Have heard mid 70's impala/caprice, has anyone on here done one of these swaps? Any other models come to mind? looking for ideas to help a fellow rodder. Thanks for the input.[S

It fits perfectly fine on a stock chassis. The holes even line up.

well theyre about 196/197 in length 75in width ... 115 in wheelbase...
but B_E_D is right -- the best bet and fit is going to be the frame it is on...
53 chevy is a pretty popular car with lots of bolt on upgrade kits and adapters
that should make whatever youd like to do a lot easier from brakes to motor swaps
steering etc ....

That's pretty funny right there!!! I quess he figures it would be easier and cheaper to mount it on something else as opposed to rebuilding and swapping parts.

frame

use a GM metric frame. believe it 1979 or so to early 80's. need to stretch it but a friend just put on under a 50 olds coupe and it worked great
