Tour the Coca-Cola Factory. Eat at the Varsity. Not gormet food but a place with a lot of history that has basically remained unchanged.

I have a friend in Atlanta who builds cars. But he isn't much to look at.

Note: I just got an email from my friend in Atlanta and he is protesting my statement.:D

you could head north about 70 miles in Whites and visit Old Car City..theres a web site for it ...i think you have to call for a tour.maybe someone can post the link for the website...this place is about 20 miles from me ...

Don't miss the "underground" while your there. Been years since I was down in Atlanta, but from what I remember the underground was pretty cool...bunch of good restaurants...again from what I remember

You can see the corner where Kenny Rogers shot the scene with those kids in "Six Pack".

Had a great time in Atlanta. Except for the humidity. We went to Turner Field Saturday for a Braves VS Tigers game. Braves won. After the game we went to the Varsity Worlds largest drive-in restaurant http://www.thevarsity.com/ Place was packed!! Had the #2 Combo a Chili Burger and Chili Dog.

On Sunday we went to Stone Mountain Park. http://www.stonemountainpark.com/ Did the rides and Tram to the top of the Mountain. Great Views up there!

Hit 3 Harley Dealers had to get the T-Shirts!

We also did the Georgia Aqurium, World of Coca-Cola, Fernbank Museum and the "Underground".

did you stay for the laser light show at stone mountain? did you eat at the chicken place there? both really good and if you missed either of them, then i would suggest going again and getting some chicken and having a picnic for the light show.
