What's the longest that anybody has owned the same rat?

Seems like there are a bunch of people that like to build and then sell their cars.

What is the longest that anyone has kept a rat that they built?

I started my flatbed in 2005 and got it roadworthy in 2007. It now has over 6,600 miles on it.

I've had it since 1985. It hasn't run in years but I keep it for when I get time to put it back on the road. Still has the old red faded paint on it.

our 50 has been in the family since 78 and mine since 2000. But it isnt a rat yet so does that count?

The longest I've ever kept any vehicle is 2.5 years, the shortest was 45 minutes...bought the vehicle in Chattanooga and a guy flagged me down in Cleveland (TN) and bought it.

I finished my chopped bug in 06, I've had my 65 primered bug since 84 and have put a buttload of miles on it. My dad has owned his 35 Ford truck for 47 years. It was sitting on a 40 Ford frame and was sectioned 13 inches and the bed shortned about 2 foot in the early 60's. But was told its not a traditional hot rod. [S

Got my 51 Ford F1 in 1992, on road since 93....been as far west as Indy and east to Prince Edward Island, Canada........probably wont ever sell......

I've owned my coupe since 2005 but my dad owned it before that. I'll never get rid of it because my dad owned it (even though I've changed it).

I've owned my Anglia since 2004 but I think it's going to be for sale soon.

My 34 Ford I just bought last year but haven't started on it yet.

I drove my old '49 F1 shop truck for three years...owned it for five.

I bought my '49 Chevy pickup in '93 and have not driven it much the last 4 years. It's got 43000 miles since I built it. My '36 I've had about 4years, 16 months on the road with about 6500 miles. Not tired of it yet!

68 Impala owned 19 years, 33 ford pu owned 18 years, tubbed 58 IH 15 years, 67 Chevy pu 11 years, 66 Krew Kab 5 years, guess I dont get rid of the ones I like. the 65 Ford pu I built my Daisy we have had 6 years now, great daily driver
and last my D50 that ive had for 4 1/2 years
