I am looking into what frame I want to use on the rat rod. I have a 1929 Roadster truck. I am going as cheap as possible so I am looking into a stock and an aftermarket ones . Can anyone point me toward a cheap aftermarket or descent plans to build my own. If I go stock I would have to buy it box the rails and it may be not mch more to buy new.

Have you checked out PA41's thread?

Might work out if you're looking for low-buck.

If you can cut and weld SAFELY, or know someone who can, check out the shorts pile at your local steel supplier fro rectangular tubing and have at it.

If you want to buy a pre-fabbed T-bucket style frame, one of our members, Ron Pope, could probably help you out for a reasonable price:

Hope this helps.

P.S. Nice Chevelle, I used to have a '72 rag and I MISS that car!:(
