I've been gone for 20 years but I'm from Junction City. There's at least 3 others on here from Kansas. One from Beloit, one from Wichita, and one from Kansas City, Ks. that I know of. Maybe they'll see your post and say hi?

Oberlin Ks, straight North on Hwy 83, stop just before you hit Nebraska.
I was born in Garden City...a looong time (darn near 40 years) ago...my Dad worked at the Ford dealership there in the 60's and very early 70's, I think it was called Burtis Motors.

nice to meet you guys. let me know about shows in your area. i hope to have my truck done real soon and plan on trying to hit some shows.

There's one this Saturday in St. Francis, KS, usually about 100 cars, nice single day show. The next weekend is the Atwood Rod run, usually pulls in 400 to 500 cars, and there's stuff going on Friday through Sunday, but don't miss the Saturday afternoon drags at the airport.
June 6th, Oberlin KS, we are also having Vintage racing at our 3/8 mile dirttrack.
July 11, Norton KS, they also have drag races at the airport
