Zoomies

I'm building a 350 and it will have zoomies. Do I need a specific setup to run them effectively? It seems like it might need a different cam since there is no back pressure.

Sorry for the noob question.

Nope... just slam 'um on there!!! Ummmm... & never stand in front of 'um when you start it up!!!

Some small motorcycle baffles can help give you a little backpressure!!

If I ran them short and open I would at least wrap them with header wrap!!! JMO

I ran cheapie bike baffles from JC Whitney ($3.99 ea)... they cut down some of the noise & keep the flames from scorchin' cars next to ya!!! [ddd[ddd[ddd

USA Twins catalogue is a very good and cheap place to buy MC parts,

6 inch baffles were less than five bucks apiece if I remember correctly.

You can get them different diameters and lengths!

BTW my truck ran better with them than without them!!
Now I have open fenderwell headers, runs even better with them!!
