Anyone ever used a camaro/trans am subframe in a 46 1/2 ton truck?

I'm wanting to keep it 6 lug and all the disc brake kits I find to fit the 46 change it to 5 lug. But I can find disc brake kits to fit 48-59 that keep it 6 lug. So, if I order a kit to fit a 48-59 it should work on my 46 1/2 ton axle?

Another question, are all the brake parts and hubs interchangeable between a 1/2 ton 46 and a 1/2 ton 48-54? I know it sounds like I'm rambling a lot but there is actually a little method to my madness! LOL

I'm wanting to change out the front axle on my 46 1.5 ton to a 1/2 ton axle. My question is, will a front axle from a 48-54 GM 1/2 ton fit in its place?

That's cool. I have seen MM grills used and liked the look, especially the old style Z MM grill. Here's an updated pic of our UB puller after some winter time and money.

Well, I finished the truck. Took it to a few shows. Had a man offer me some $$$$ and couldn't turn it down. Miss it a little, but I replaced it with a cool ride that I can cruise my whole family in. That is more important to me than owning the truck. I WILL build another truck some day. But for...

It looks like a corvette style master with 7" booster

I have checked that. It was too tight and adjusted and it seemed to help a little. May put a little more end play in it to see if it helps.

Rear reservoir looks to be a little smaller

Bought a 61 impala with disc brake conversion on all four corners. Brakes work good for the first few miles. After about 4-5 miles of driving they start dragging and get tighter and tighter until it's a struggle to drive. Afro t and rear doing the same thing. Stop driving for about 45 minutes...

Decided to keep the truck for now. Too much blood, sweat, and tears in it. Getting geared up for the redneck rumble in Tennessee in September.
