Ok u Texicans... Billetproof is coming to Giddings, Tx (about 1/2 way between Houston & Austin). This should be a pretty good show but be sure to bring some sun screen & a tent if possible! I can't wait & hope ta see ya there!!! I'll be in the old Daytripper again!!!

Gittin' ready!

Spent the day gittin' ready for Billetproof. My elec fan has been marginal for quite a while so I took the radiator shell off & got it back up to speed, gassed up, checked fluids & aired up the tires... etc. Gonna hit da road early in da morn... I'll post fotos when I return!

U r never gonna believe this but... my battery had been actin' up but I didn't have time to go get a new one... not good. Anyway... I charged it up & it seemed to hold. Tried to get off to an early start but it didn't work out. So when I finally got on the road I stopped to air up my bags up & then... dead! Didn't feel like havin' a problem 2 hrs from home so I got a jump, turned around & beat it back home!! Bummer!!!

did the right thing about turning back,i wish i would have done the same...on the hamb there is alot of bad talk about rust and rats,alot of folks didn't like it,but **** looks like the rust ran the show...vicks
