At the rate our lawmakers have been increasingly taking away our individual freedoms I've really been concerned about gun rights going forward but was relieved to see the High Court strike down a handgun ban in DC upholding the 2nd amendment! I'm also concerned about many of the laws or attempts to pass laws regarding old cars & our right to have them on our own private property.

Gun rights article in the WSJ!

Hell yeah! I am not the most political guy in the world but I do believe that somewhere down the line this country let some (excuse my blunt language) pussies into our government and started caring about the wrong things. I mean these people in arizona protesting the immigration laws is the perfect example. They are in favor of people crossing the border!? We can't even control our borders and they want to take our guns away..... hell no.

I wonder if the President will come out and say that the SCOTUS acted foolishly. Very happy another gun ban is down the tubes. Mr Bloomberg the Gun Owners of America and the Second Amendment Foundation are coming for you next.[cl

I am growing more concerned as this year passes as to our loss of the constitutional rights. It looks like America is in one of the hardest places since the Civil War to me.
Hope this sets a tone.

We don't need everyone to be awake...
The Three Percent in 1775.
During the American Revolution, the active forces in the field against the King's tyranny never amounted to more than 3% of the colonists. They were in turn actively supported by perhaps 10% of the population. In addition to these revolutionaries were perhaps another 20% who favored their cause but did little or nothing to support it. Another one-third of the population sided with the King (by the end of the war there were actually more Americans fighting FOR the King than there were in the field against him) and the final third took no side, blew with the wind and took what came.

Three Percenters today do not claim that we represent 3% of the American people, although we might. That theory has not yet been tested. We DO claim that we represent at least 3% of American gun owners, which is still a healthy number somewhere in the neighborhood of 3 million people. History, for good or ill, is made by determined minorities. We are one such minority. So too are the current enemies of the Founders' Republic. What remains, then, is the test of will and skill to determine who shall shape the future of our nation.

The Three Percent today are gun owners who will not disarm, will not compromise and will no longer back up at the passage of the next gun control act. Three Percenters say quite explicitly that we will not obey any further circumscription of our traditional liberties and will defend ourselves if attacked. We intend to maintain our God-given natural rights to liberty and property, and that means most especially the right to keep and bear arms. Thus, we are committed to the restoration of the Founders' Republic, and are willing to fight, die and, if forced by any would-be oppressor, to kill in the defense of ourselves and the Constitution that we all took an oath to uphold against enemies foreign and domestic.

We are the people that the collectivists who now control the government should leave alone if they wish to continue unfettered oxygen consumption. We are the Three Percent. Attempt to further oppress us at your peril.

To put it bluntly, leave us the hell alone.

Or, if you feel froggy, go ahead AND WATCH WHAT HAPPENS.

"One nation, under God"

“If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without bloodshed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.”

-- Winston Churchill

Read that twice because I'm afraid it will come to that. I will not give them my guns.....they will not take my guns.....they will not find my guns!
Watch "Red Dawn" again. GO WOLVERINES.

[cl Long live the Second Amendment! I live in Arizona and I am Hispanic, living in Arizona allows me to open carry a sidearm which I do from time to time and I am not going to allow some government "pussies" to take away my gun or my legal rights to carry a gun without a fight. Being Hispanic, doesn't mean I am protesting the immigration laws, I don't agree with allowing any illegal aliens (Mexican, Asian, Iranian, whatever) to freely cross over our borders, if they want to come here then by all means do so but do it legally. I have seen the effects and the cost of giving away medical care and schooling to all of us who pay taxes. In other countries, you have to have your "papers" with you at all times or risk the chance of being arrested or deported at anytime.
Living in Arizona also means minimal rust due to our dry climate and therefore more available hot rod driving days. Again, I am not going to allow the government to tell me what kind of vehicle I must drive or how it must look or perform. I am not a rebel or troublemaker, but I do feel I have the right to live my life my way.

hhmmmm

I've noticed that when gun threads are posted on here nobody speaks out against them. Which leads me to one of two conclusions: 1) everyone is pro-gun, or 2) the anti-gun folks are smart enough to remain silent and therefore, alive.:D

OK, maybe that's oversimplifying, but amuzing nonetheless.

Proves my point that we are not represented by our congressmen!!!
This November "DO NOT RE-ELECT ANYBODY"...if you think your representative is doing a good job, he's got you fooled!!..
