Today the 52 got moved to a temp storage area, very nice climate controlled secure building. So glad to not have to put it back under the tarp.

Great news! I have a spot at my buddies shop for the 52 so now I can work on it at night after work on other peoples all-day. It will be moved tomorrow and I will have a lift so I can get all the plumbing done, brakes/fuel line/P steering lines everything else I need to get into a driver. That means it will have to get the ole' flat black treatment for this year anyway but I WILL BE DRIVEING IT THIS SUMMER!!!![dr

It is so good to have friends in the right places.[cl

F'ing great white north has struck again:eek: Got up this morning to find it snowing and freezing rain, the roads are covered with salt and slop, so it won't get moved today as planned. Sucks! I tell ya. its been dry and warm for the last 4 days. But today the gods have frowned upon me:(

Never mind that last post, it kinda dried up enough to move it. It will stay here till its a running drive'n car[dr I can't wait and couldn't be happier to finally get back to it.

Very very nice shop! good to have friends in the right places.
Had to pull the front end off so we can change the cam. It has a monster solid roller in it that doesn't make any vacuum to speak of and I don't need some lumpy noisy cam in it so I am putting a mild Hyd in it so I don't have to "F" with it a lot and listen to it. And with the brake booster way under the floor I want vacuum. This is a cruzer not a racer.

Today I got the lower 1/2 of the dash painted so we can put the gauges and switch's in. It is all wired up and ready for them. Also got my Ludwig Speed King bass drum peddle mounted and working for my gas peddle. Oh ya, I got the centers for my hub caps and put one on! I love'em.
