Hummm. Ran into something I wan't expecting to:eek:.
I think i can make it all work without cutting it up, actully sit's good now and I still have about 5"s travel in the rear.
Heres the good part.......I can't get the freakin wheels off!!!
I tried letting the air out but they will not come out of the wheel opening now. What the phuck am I going to do now? It sits where I want it ...

does anyone make a wide white run flat?

Good idea![cl But no the rim is getting stuck on the drum. I have to use a bottle jack to get the sring down more:rolleyes:
The price we pay for the Low Life;)

Quick release pins on the shocks like some drag cars run. Just pop the pin out and the rear swings down enough to get the tire off. [;)

WOW! 5000 views I am honored[cl
Guys I posted these before and got no reaction. 55 Pontiac front bumper one is with just the center section the other is with the whole thing upper and lower. I like both but what does everybody think?

First the disclaimer; I am not very artistic. In my opinion, both choices are too bulky and busy for my taste. I think the rest of the car is very nice and simple with great lines and nothing to disturb the eye. I could never chop a late model car and create the nice lines you have.[cl

Thank you for the kind words, its not that hard, really it isn't just get after it and do it. I kinda agree with what you say but I am looking for more mass on the front and rear gives it a bigger sled look. I am thinking of useing a set of those splits on the rear also.

The weather finally got good enough to roll it outside to check the stance.
I just don't get it, 4" drop in the front and 5 in the rear and it still isn't where I want it and really don't have alot more weight to add to it.

Are you going back with the stock rear bumper? Doing away with the filler panel and putting in a belly pan might make it look lower in the rear. (I'm not saying it doesn't look good the way it is - just an idea that might give you the look you're aiming for.)

Right now I am going with the stock bumpers. The rears will have the tail lights in the the guards. Looking for two 49 plate guards also.

Got the new radiator mounted today was checking for hood clearance and thought what the hell, throw the rest of the front end on to see what it looks like. I need new bumpers and I have very nice parts for the grill but now I have a general idea what its gona look like.
