If anyone noticed there is a solid windshield setting on the car, it is out of a 54 Belair. They will fit after being cut but I can't make up my mind on a one piece or a 2 part/split with the center:confused:
Whats everyone think? I am leaning more to the center post.

usually I am on the "keep the split" team but I like the way this is looking. Very smooth and clean. I think the one piece will look better on yours. [P

Swapping in the newer one piece glass was an "avant garde" mod back in the day, I understand. With all the new smoothness there, probably would look nice with the one piece. HOWEVER, keeping the original two-piece windshield would sure be different on a kustom... Dunno, your sled, your call. Looks gorgeous, btw.

Regards,
Shea:)

Thanks guys, I really think I want to keep the split window for now.
So anyway, I have been working on the exhaust and with the 2 1/4" pipe there was no room to run it out the back on each side so I had to take out the spare tire well and will move the gas tank over about 3"s kinda center it up and make room for the pipes. Cut out the well and it can be used again if need be then made a patch panel and finally got to use my bead roller I had bought for doing the floors in the Puzzle.

Damn that looks so good! Hope it is in sealer and not regular primer. Primer will absorb moisture and it will rust underneath. [P

Its urethane and I am a bit worried about it. I forgot to snap a pic of it wrapped up in a tarp. It should be ok I hope.

Its back in the garage for a couple days, have another project coming this week so it has to go back out but I wanted to see if the 55 Pontiac bumpers that I finally got are going to work so I did a quick mock up.
Gona need to narrow the center section a bit but I think they will work.

That does look cool, what would it look like turned upside down?
I'm seeing some angles in the center that might compliment each other.

I tried that and yes the tin part looks better but the openings are not symectircal so I would have to cut them out and swap side to side.
Might happen not sure. I need to get the bumpers mounted and make the tin fit them, it also makes for a nice rolled pan underneth the bumpers.
Time will tell, I have a 66 Nova SS comeing in for a complete resto so the 52 will be put in storage for a while:(

This is what has kicked the coupe out the door for a few weeks, sucks but I gotta eat to.
Will get a compelet resto[;)
