Set up has been on there for a while. The PO did the work and it sat for quite a while before he decided to get rid of it. Thats when I thought it was the calipers and replaced those. I drove it for a day after I got it and then the front tires started to lock up and thats when I parked it...

I understand which one you were talking about but i was thinking that there would be an arch to it and would not be able to be reversed like that. I know my rear springs on my '68 were like that and it was not possible and that's why I was thinking it may not be possible but will check it out.
Yea, I lowered my '68 and know what kind of ride I am probably going to end up with but that's fine by me.
You said flip the spring? Not sure that would even work, will it?
Thinking about dropping my '59 F100 down like my '68. I am probably going to do the rear flip and remove a couple springs. What about the front? I know I can remove a couple springs there too but is there anything else I can do? Flip the beam on top of the leafs? And if it matters, I have a 429...
I say DO IT!!! Under one stipulation though.... when you get it done and go to your first car show or cruise in, video tape every second of it and post it so we can see what fun you had that day! BWA HAHA HA! :eek::eek::eek:
I'm just going to say it.... for all intended purposes... the quality may not be the best but someone put a ton of time into that. I wouldn't pay anything for it but I'm sure it could be made into something similar you would see come out of the minds of Barris and the likes. Again, not my cup...
Second this.... you may have to take a chainsaw to get to most of the old stuff but definitely worth the time to look around. There's a lot of history sitting down there!
For those of you who have used license plates to make a complete floor, how did you fasten them? I have 2 speed limit signs that I used self tappers into the existing floor but would like to surround the rest with plates. I don't really like the idea of using self tappers all the way around my...
