The arguement on when they started is "bobbers" built using 35 and later truck bodies, and specifically fat fender bodies. I don't think anyone ever says they weren't built "back then" using 34 and earlier bodies.
I don't know squat about British cars, but I bought an 87 Jag for the rear end and after reading this, I went out to the car. The cap says Dot 3 only. Wonder why?
The kits that everyone here is mentioning carries the adaptors. As for calipers, most kits nowdays uses the GM "metric" calipers found on many GM products from 78 and up.
