I can buy a 230v Lincoln mig rig at lowes for 530. and get the gas kit with it. MSRP is misleading. They double the price and slash it to make you rip your wallet thru your pants.

Keep the 110 mig for the light stuff. I stick most of the thick stuff and torch just about everything else but 110 migs are nice for the small jobs

Remove K member? I would make sure the rails are tied together by your bags. I've seen frames twist under load test without a crossmember by the suspension. Have you thought about axel wrap? Can't see the rear that well. Good job.

Yeah they are a big car but that made installing my 429 easier. why own the Aston martin when you can own this and not worry bout dents or bullet holes. I call the car custom beater. New car class " villain car"

Welcome. The best advice I can give you is to go to shows and cruise inns and ask people where they get there stuff at. Take a drive and keep your eyes open. You'll be amazed how many people have cars just sitting on there property. Look for swap meets. I go to every scrap yard i see.

I hate the use of labels on cars. most confuse me and some annoy me. With that out of the way I was wondering if this 1972 galaxie was a "rat car"," rat rod", "custom","hot rod", "beater", "muscle car", "death trap"... Just seeing what your opinions are. It don't bother me one bit what label...
