I forgot to add,post some picks of any progress you make,will help me get through the next couple months.

I got the drivers door filled,now I have to work 17 out of the next 18 days,take 4 days off and then 21 of 23 days so I wont be getting much done on my car.to make matters worse,my new headers are in my basement just waiting to get put on the car.

I like the looks of that,contemplated something like that with mine but decided on the low and slow look,although I'm not puting bags on mine(yet anyway).

Any ideas or progress on the car yet? Did you get the garage door fixed?

If ya look close you can see mine is a business coupe too,the back end is a little longer.

This is where I am at,a lot of guys wont like it,(getting rid of the rust)but I spent 2 years teaching myself with the sheet metal work,not perfect but better than some body shops,now shave the door handle on the driver side and sheet metal work is done,the worst stuff anyway.

No pics on the computer yet,when I get a little more progress I'll have my kid put some up,(always forget how to do that stuff).

I have a 53,I got dropped spindles from fat man and cut one coil off the springs,you can get new leafs for the rear,cost me 300 bucks and dropped the backend 3 inches,figured if I want it lower i can put a 1 inch block in the rear too.

I have been working on a 53 ford for about 15 years,just like everyone else I get things when I can afford them,most things on the cheap,fuel injected chevy motor,overdrive tranny,bought an english wheel and shrinker/stretcher to make new panels,cant buy much for that year ford.It wont be rusty...

I have ya all beat,my inlaws live about 12,000 miles away,and my wife is there for 5 weeks visiting right now.
