Thanks for the input. I really don't want to rip anyone off and just wanted to know what you all thought would be a fair price to start at. Anyone here have, experience selling rat rods on eBay?

I have been driving my rat rod as a daily driver for over a year now and I think it's time for something new. I don't have room money or time for two rat rods so I want to sell my Peterbilt. The problem I have is it is waaaay to much fun to sell cheap, but I don't want to come off as the guy...

    Peterbilt 359

Made a new video...plumbed the Johnny bar to activate front brakes. Kind of like a line lock, but the front brakes aren't that great. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2oZ36ASJgw

Hey MN73, yeah I drove it from Sioux Falls. It drove great. It's a little rough, I could use shocks in the front, but it steers tight and handles good. What a great show too! Did you catch that 52? Dodge with the supercharger in the bed shaft driven from the front?

    My 1967 White TD9500

Hey thanks for posting your pictures on my build thread. I don't know how I missed yours. Is that a 335 Cummins? How does it ride? Mine also weighs right at 11,000. Very cool truck!

    If you have a Rat

Yeah I moved pretty quick when I pulled my headliner out to fix my air horn and there was a live one up there. And the funny part was my air horn didn't work because he had chewed through the line.

    1967 International 1300b - Slow but productive.

A diesel in that will be awesome. Just as a thought lots of old school busses came with international v8s. We have one for work that we bought the whole bus for somewhere around 2000. Its non turbo but it runs great and sounds great and cheap to work on. Also, a nice heavy flatbed on there...

Very cool. I like different. Are you leaving it a dually? What kind of grill shell do you use on a vw bug-truck?

Twoeheeletex I usually shift 3 5 7 9 but it takes a long time for the engine to idle down 600 rpm each shift. I finally got the adapter and everything I messed up back together and am now just waiting on the compressor. I might make it to the show this weekend after all. Bamamav you can see...

    Peterbilt 359

I agree, tecster...lets see some pictures Thanks for the tips bamamav. I screwed up when I took the adapter to the compressor off the accessory drive. The compressor is still held on though. I will make a wrench to get the compressor off the adapter but I still need to get the adapter off to...

    Peterbilt 359

Hey thanks for the comments......I just got home and am giving up for the day. First of all the air compressor was leaking so i tried to open it up to find the problem and discovered you have to remove it to get the top off. So I cleaned it the best I could and bolted it back together. Took...

    Peterbilt 359

Finally got around to putting matching wheels in the front. With the old wheels off I discovered the front left king pin needed some work. The downside to making a toy out of a truck is the hub seals and king pin kit was almost $400. So to save a few dollars I decided to unmount and remount...

Hydrocarbon that sounds like a great plan but the stupid box only has like 5 feet behind the cab. No room for a motorcycle. Bummer. Haha Got the box painted and back on and put to work today. I used it to move a pallet for work and got some funny looks backed up to the loading dock. The paint...

    Peterbilt 359

Good deal. Hearing a few opinions helped me make up my mind. Now to find out how to match that color. I'd like to take it to it's first car show this weekend... I used carriage bolts to bolt the box together to try and match the rivets holding the cab together. Doing my best to make it look...

    Peterbilt 359

Thanks...hydrocarbon I really wanted side tanks like a semi but this one was too long and I can't weld aluminum. Now the next question. Would it be better to try to match the cab color on the box or just flat black the whole thing? I really want them both the same...and am kinda leaning...
