    Air ride help

You should try to put a water trap between the compressor and the tank. Between the tank and bags, you need 2 valves per bag. One for lift, one for dump. Check valves between the tank and valve are not a bad idea either. Here is an example for plumbing the valves. When you open the dump...

    1930 Chevy

My grandpa decided he wanted it back, so I traded it to him for the lathe.

No, I need something new to drive while I build a new frame for Frank. This is what I came up with.

I got them from The Hot Rod Company.

    1930 Chevy

Yeah remember when I said I was going to be driving a roadster next year? Lol. As for the frame, it will be pretty standard looking I guess. I have some 2x3 and 2x4 for the main rails, and will probably run some tube in the center for crossmembers. I want to run a Satchell link out back to...

Ya I have a bead roller I can make dies for to create the body line if I have to.

Nice looking work. I like the way your weld in bungs look.

    1930 Chevy

I have a 72 Chevy inline 250 for it, and a TH350. I got them from the guy with the Jeep. He pulled them out for a big block. So I got some started on a lakes header for it this morning. Also got some chromoly rod ends for the 4-link and the wishbones. Thats it right now, but I should be...

    1930 Chevy

I bought a 39 Chevy dash because I thought it looked cool. Not sure if I will use it or not, but its at least cool to hang on the wall. Wide 5 wheel adapters for the back. My friend was building a 48 Jeep as a crawler, and decided to part it out instead. I got these re-popped WWII Jeep seats...

    1930 Chevy

I'm really not sure on terminology, so I'm not going to try to put it into a category. I'm, just going to build it the way I want to. I've been collecting parts for a while, and as soon as I get the cop car out of the shop I will have enough room to build my frame and get started. So, here's...

Welding a main leaf? Can you do that?

Welding to a spring makes it brittle. It also takes out its elasticity, and its no longer really a spring. You shouldn't ever weld to one.

    Inline 6 carb setup

Do you have a PN for the paint? I've never been able to find it on their site.

^What kind of coating is on your carbs?

    Chevy I6

Yeah I like the Langdon cast header. If I where building a 6 powered fendered car I would probably use that. Just not the look I am after for this car. I started work on my flange today. Made a press forming die for the tube. Will probably have some progress on it next week.

    Chevy I6

By one piece I meant using a one piece flange, which is why they would come together as one piece. Since I want to build a header and an intake for myself, I might as well just make them together. One flange would eliminate those oval washer things holding two pieces together. I guess I will...

    Chevy I6

Thats a great looking motor 24Dodge. And Bobw I had seen your international. I like what you built for the engine. Maybe I should make my question more simple though. I basically want to know if there would be interest in a custom intake to run a 2x2 or 3x2 carb setup? Or if most would rather...

    Chevy I6

Anyone running the later Chevy I6? The 194, 250 and 292? I've got a 250, and I am wanting to run lake headers and a 2 or 3 carb intake for two barrel carbs, 94s, 97s, etc. I've only found things like this for the earlier inline motors, and even then they are hard to get the intakes. I am...

    1936 chevy build

The chop looks good, truck looks mean. If I can make a suggestion? I would redo the top half of the rear frame. I think it being up as high as the tires looks kind of funny, and its kind of a peave of mine. I would honestly drop it down so that is closer to the axle. Say your ride height is 2"...

Four Bar and Bags on the '41 Biz

The work looks good, but the Watts link does not look strong to me. You really need a solid bsushing in the center with a decent diameter, and it needs to be secured much better than that. I use Delrin in most cases, but a poly bushing is okay too. Oilite would be the best bet overall. The moutn...
