    radiator is from a 65 mustang. Yes 140" wheel base, so its like a suburban length only alot lower to the ground. Yes started looking into the front axle lastnight. Trying to figure a way out to have it be the setup it is now. started the bed sides lastnight. should give it a whole new look with...

    I will deff look into this situation and see what needs to be changed. If front end needs to be changed before it goes down the road it will be done for sure. I appreciate all the comments. here is a couple pics of it sitting down on the ground. oh and the munster coach has came up many times...

    well its has been a long time since I have both posted anything on this truck or been on this site. Took a little vacation from this build to get a few other projects done. Here is a few updates. Starting the truck bed sometime this weekend.

    the doors are from a 27 sedan. The rear doors are going to be made to look the same as the front. The curve will be taken out of it. Your doors. To be honest I forgot all about it. I will give the guy a call tonight or stop by his house...sorry

    '58 and that will be a shop truck more or less someday. That is were my straight axle came from. The shop is top notch for sure. Vary close friend of mine built it last summer.

    no it is not going to move there. The front end is made to move up and down not side to side. The point at were it meets the axle is not a pivot point. The pivot points are were it meets the spring and frame. Answer that right?

    a local guy around my here has maybe 10 of so T bodies that are complete. He is always buying and selling. Next time I see him I will ask for you.

    chopper: I will look into the doors for you. I may have access to a few doors. The sunvisor is going to be built from scratch. The front will have lateral movement. The end that bolts into the frame is on a hyme joint. That should give it enough movement.

    hole drilled in axle with a bolt going through. Tube and bolt will all be welded so it looks like the bolt is holding eveything together.

    it will have some tall tires for sure. straight axle is from a 58 chevy pickup. The brains behind the build took them and turned the spindle down to fit 75 1/2 chevy rotors. How long is an average 4 door car at this era? (wheelbase)

    figured I would get comments on the disk brakes put on the straight axle
