hard to explain, looking for pics of beds that are flat bedsides maybe capped with round stock. when the bedsides go past the rear wheels they are rounded down to bumper, i have only seen it a couple times, am i making sense:confused:

i am a welder fabricator by trade but i am not gonna lie i never welded forged to mild and i am not afraid to ask. i am being told preheat. 7018, then let cool slowly........ but its not mild to mild .......... its forged to mild?:confused: iam confusing myself...... am i overthinking this?

exhaust looks great! on another note, any chance you got closeup pics of your front suspension? mainly your brackets for the straight axle and spring?

are there weld on batwings available and can i weld them to my 60 ford axle? i am confusing myself on this. my axle is forged correct? just dont want them snapping off if the axle shouldn't be welded on.

any more? theres gotta be more[P

haha thats what i thought. i took the whole front suspension out when i first got it. the body is in good shape. i am gonna stay with the original plan to clip the front with something, i was gonna go with a camaro clip but have been lookin at the crown vic front suspension, thanks again guys.

that cab is gonna look really wide with no front clip on the ih frame isn't it?

normally i would say no way to 60's fenderless cab but the body lines on my 67 ih 1000 got me wondering,take off stepside fenders,front clip,sucide front end with a grill? i haven't taken the truck apart yet to see what the cab would look like without front clip on it. take it apart or...
