    52? Dodge Pickup

Alright, look like the 52's going on hold for a bit. Lost that job, now I'm moving to Alberta to work on a feedlot. I'll be getting a place and such, then looking to trailer it out (at least the body) and start working on it. Will update when either this gets going or when I find a different...

    the h.a.m.b did me in

I agree with Iron in that, as all the Canadians will remember, "We're all in this together". Red may have been a comedy show, but he was right. We're all car guys. There was a guy with a 90s chevy pickup behind me last night. I outright told him it wasn't my style, but I could see he'd put a...

    Seatbelt Latch Other Uses

In that case...engine mount? Haha just kidding. Awhile ago kids were using seatbelts as belts for their pants. One of my friends was and (this isn't car related just as a warning) I was riding a colt, when my cinch broke. Not wanting to let the horse think he could get people off so easily, I...

    Fenderwell Headers

Not trying to jack the thread, but I was wondering, to make headers I assume you just use exhaust pipe? Just buy some straight stock and bend? Also, couldn't you just take off your original manifolds, cut them down to the flanges, and weld the custom headers to that? Thanks, Rob

Help Me With Tires And Rims

Thats expensive? Haha my other hobby is wheeling and for my 33x12.5x15" swampers I paid $1,320 after shipping and taxes, etc. That's around $330/tire for four. I guess everyone has a different perspective on what is expensive for what product. On the note about that you're building a rat, I am...

    1934 Cadillac

Looks awesome! Great to see another Canuck...nay, another bc'r ratting! I'm in Nelson, not a lot of us around here. Keep up the hood work, maybe we'll catch each other at an event next season :)

    52? Dodge Pickup

So, over the next few days my project is to clean out the Quonset I'll be using to build the truck. Originally, I cleaned just enough room to get the truck in and have room to walk around the sides, as my in laws use it as storage at the moment. Turn out, the new plan is to clean it all the way...

    52? Dodge Pickup

Haha it sure does. Thanks guys. I'm trying to do the project without using money, however, there are certain things I'm not sure I'll be able to scrounge. And since I'm not a theif, that leaves that out of the question...

I'm sure hoping when it's a rolling chassis that I can do that. Problem is I might never leave then haha!

    52? Dodge Pickup

That's a great vid, thanks! And thanks for the encouragment. I'm sorry to hear about your career, that's terrible. Contrary to popular belief, not all Canadians know each other, but if we did, I'd go tell those people to be a little more responsible in their decision making. Had an interview...

    52? Dodge Pickup

Still in the dirt. Out of a job, so the motivation isn't there since I can't even afford to get some steel to start on boxing the frame. We can eat and live but the extras are out of the question. Was training horses all summer but that's slowed down, back to reality where I have to get an out...

    Model A Speedster build

Well, I'm sure that'll turn out great too! That speedster looks likethe fastest 40hp around! Great build, inspiration for me to kick my own but into getting the truck into the darn shop and start on it! Looking forward to seeing your next build! Rob

It does, thanks a lot. Finally clear here, no rain in sight, but no one is around to help again. Guess it'll sit in the trees for a few more hours, maybe till tomorrow...

    1st build, 1933 olds rat

I'm with them, lower. I love the car, looks great! I gotta keep reading stuff like this so that I know it's possible to finish them. I gave myself a year to get mine done, I'm a month into it and haven't even gotten her out of the trees yet. Can't wait to hear that you're done!

    52? Dodge Pickup

Awesome. I'll try and snag an 8 3/4 if I can find one. Assuming I can get some fundage together I've found myself a 440 with a 727 from someone on here. Which is great, and he's being very accomodating. Pretty excited about that. Still raining, I've tarped the truck but it's still sitting...

    52? Dodge Pickup

It does help, thanks a lot. Nice truck, I can't wait to get started. I might start with that over the next day or so assuming I get her into the shop finally. What do you have for a rear end in thur? Thanks Rob

    52? Dodge Pickup

All I've got right now, as is seen by the pics, is the body, frame and the front end. So you mean on the original front suspension similar to mine, you took that much travel? Did it lower the front as well? Rob
