Also when putting the engine together, I have an sbc electronic ignition. Hopefully I can come up with a 2bbl for it or a 4bbl intake and carb. My questions come to can I adapt an s10 steering pump/ brackett and alternator/ brackett.

So I'm going to hope the 283 that it came with will be a runner. the guy I got it from seemed to think so. I have a 700r4 from a 1991 trans-am that I beleive will work. So we shall see. Anything I should look out for? Does this combo match up?

There are a few that I wouldnt get rid of, 71-73 barracuda, 1950 merc 2 door, 66-68 tempest. But most of them I like the build then want someone else to enjoy it. Car is going in the garage this weekend, hopefully tomorow.

3K for everything. Worth more than that in parts. But like I said, if someone had the time this could be an incredible car. I'm just going to build it on my budget and time.

    New From Maine

After looking the front end parts over I will be able to unbolt the front fenders as i wish. Conections are all in great shape and I will be able to see it as both. Grill and hood would stay on, kind of a prowler look

I'm not going to chop this car. the frame was cut up already and the rest of the car is so good I dont want to destroy it. The parts alone are hard to find and when I move on to another project, it would be nice to part it out to people doing full resto's so they have original equipment. Im...

    51 Chevy Named "Expense-Spared"

First attempt at Vintage. Have always liked The full customs and Perfect condition restos, but they really have always been missing something. I have found its the " Historic Wow" factor. I walked up on this beauty after looking at a 1.5Ton of around the same year. Sitting off in a field ,I made...

The Large pump may be an old artisan Well machine. Weighed more than the trucks that carried them were rated for. Late 40's 2000 lb rated chevy. I had one given to me for scrap. If that is what it is than I'd say it missing about 3 tons of gears and wheels. Amazing how The old Six's could do so...

The crushed bed actually made the stance of the truck a bit lower. All removed now. Just drove from Killeen, Texas to Maine in 40Hrs.....Non stop baby....... But I wanted to mention how lucky ya'll from the south really are. Oldies all over the place with minimal if any real rust issues. Wish I...
