    41 International

My second rat rod. Having more fun with this one than the first. I'm calling this front suspension "staggered perpendicular quarter elliptical". Flying Goddess is a gift from a friend. Doing a front to back fender swap, using the old louvered inner fenders as fender skirts. Air bagging the...

    1947 Ford Dump / 1st Public Showing

Took the 47 to first car show this past April. Only a few Rats there but we took home best in class. Drew a crowd all day. About a week later my wife and I were out for a spin and a local police officer decided I needed a warning for cutting a red light too close. Didn't get a ticket, so I...

    TH 400 Question

Just bought a TH400 out of a motorhome. It had the brake assembly on it. At the junkyard we pulled off the brake assembly housing and slid on a short tail housing. It appears to fit correctly and match all diagrams of the TH400 I can find. Any thoughts?

47' Ford: Thanks for the help!

Hey, I want to thank everyone for your help over the past year. This started out as a 1 1/2 ton dump. Browsing this site and checking out your rides, builds and comments was a great help. Like having a real smart buddy in the shop. I have a short list of things to wrap up after work tonight...

Help with 1947 Ford 1.5 Ton Front Axle

Just bought a 47 Ford that I believe is a 1.5 ton. Would like to use the front axle but not the original wheels. Is there spindles that will fit and give me some options on wheels or am I going to have to swap out the entire axle?
