Someone told me it was a V12 truck motor based on a early 305 V6 GMC. not coupled but an actual V12 block tied to a Toronado drive. I checked it out but couldnt get past the motor. Like the 305 it had the spark plugs on the carb side of the head....Really neat . The only problem with the Jalopy...

Dont have the bolt pattern for ya but I know that vintage Chryslers have left hand thread on one side and right on the other. Careful that you dont snap the lugs off. I did that once...

I would recommend using a down flow trailer furnace. You could run it on Kerosene and perch it on top of a cottage base. They are cheap and run well. Often you can pick them up form trailer parks for a song.

My buddys got a '37 Chevy Pickup cab on a S10 Frame. I got a 1990 Dodge D50 Chassis with a Ford 2.3 and a 4 spd. Ive been running a VW beetle cab on it cut down to a roadster Pickup. Now I want a roof , heat , wipers...maybe even a radio,,,,:rolleyes:

You can cut the lib off the dash at the windsheild with a right angle grinder, yes the windshield has got to come out. Then just weld a new dash in. Ruff shod is right about the spot welds and they are a bitch to remove. I had the same problem in a '65 I had. I left the lip under the windshield...

You might as well order up a stator and a rotor assembly. They demagnetize after sitting that long and wont charge. You can maybe get away with out the stator . See if its open with a meter. I bought a few of those over the years and that rotor magnet always seemed to be dead. Dont know how to...
