I had a great time hangin' out with you at the gadsden show on friday night through the rain and then a good time talking with you on saturday at the shop . Good luck on your trip , I'm sure all will go well !

nice build. I like the whole new drive train, keep it simple, and make it seem untouched look. I am planing on going with a 4.3 v6, th350, s10 3.07 rear end in my bucket T. how do you like the power and everything?

its great , the truck weighs 2900 with me in it and it still barks the tires upto third gear,, with the 3.08 gearsthe 4speed works well but i am think bout pullin it out and puttin a 5 speed in it, right now it gets 16-18 miles to the gallon, see if it gets any better ,,

the motor I am getting is supposed to have an edelbrock intake and no carb. I am trying to figure out what carb to put on there. some people say 650cfm most say 600 cfm, I think I would like to find a 550 cfm. the strange thing is the 550 edelbroke is the most expensive at around $400 new, and I have never found a used one. I got a 1406 600 cfm to put on the 4.3 that will come off another motor, so I will see how it does.

That trailer is just right, now to get the matching wheels
oh thats my material trailer 5x8 , the trailer i am buildin is 7x12,, was goin to take pics but it started raining.
should handle better now than with those huge M/T's
yeah greg it is so much better! the ride and steering i had the low profile tires on front too, made it ride like a wagon, much smoother ride!! the weight of the wheel compared to the old steel wheel helped alot too, them suckers are HEAVY!!

Pin-striping looks great for what you're after. Sanding a little may make it look better. The camper is a work of art.

Camp with it over the weekend using what you plan to take, just in the back yard. It'll give you a hands on idea of what changes you want to make and what you need to take. Yeah it's still kinda 'cold' - you think mountain and desert nights are warm?
