4 door to a 2 door

Has anyone ever tried this change before? I'm thinking if I can find a 4 door Buick I could possibly cange it to a 2 door.

One of the usual whines by the persnickity crowd is that it never looks as good, exactly like, etc. a real 2 door. So what. I thought about 2dooring my 4door, but decided I like the 4 door look. It's 125" wheel base is kinda crazy for a 2 door.

Man that is awesome. Looks like a little bit of work but worth it.

Did some research and the good news is that both the 2 door and 4 door are 122" wb. Now to find either that is in decent shape.
