67 C 10 saved from the salvage

found this 67 that came into my sons salvage the other day . I've been thinking about gettin another truck for a daily driver. the price was right,so I brought it home it has almost no rust . was aparently running recently intake and carb removed ,clean inside motor. looks like it should'nt take much to get it running.

wheel tubs are un bolted and in good shape. need to work up some new bed woodand bolt them back in.

But in regards to the truck - Still a great find, but please relieve it of that god awful interior. Return those seats & wood trimmed console to the conversion van hell from whence they came...

Seriously? Someone scrapped that? Some guys get all the deals! I'd rebuild the bed and suspension, toss on some 16" steelies from a more modern truck, get `er running, and drive the wheels off that sucker! [cl

wow!!! you lucky dog you!!! Not sure about the steelies like they are saying, maybe some nice cragars or something. I think you should build it up like project copperhead!! I have had a boner for those trucks ever since watching that series!

I think the marker light may have been fill in not sure, you may be right.

that is the plan.

I checked the numbers on the block and heads looks like it has a 68' 327 block with 69' 350 1.94 valve heads.

I have owned several of these trucks like this, and have a lot of the little parts that it needs. the rest I should be able to pic from the salvage for next to nothing.should be an inexpensive build.
