Buick Nailhead question........................

Is there a Buick motor with the distributor in the front of the motor........?? Looks like a small Nailhead, no it's not aluminum...

nope not a nailhead although some people think they are. They are the 300 series- I believe they are actually 315 buicks. Land rovers have them I think. All nailheads have the dizzy in the back. 53-66 is the years they were made. TP

ther eis the 300 which is cast iron and had aluminum heads for a few years. it looks like a larger version of the aluminum 215/rover v8. you can swap heads, distributors and you can use the 300 crank to stroke the rover v8. but i dont think anything will swap over to or from the nailhead.
