Chop 2- top hinge and header panel

Ok getting ready to cut the T. Ive noticed alot of people cut out the top door hinge..why? is it easier? also what is the easiest way to get rid of the header panel? maybe question 1 anwers this... 3rdly..should i cut out my back window so its not a mail slot.. thanks. gettin ansy to cut it..

intresting photos on chopping the rear window here..and they added a bar below the header panel and took off the roof...opinions..?

The "mail slot" is just a matter of choice. If you like a full size window, keep it, if you like a mail slot, cut it.

I chopped my T and cut the window, I liked the look of it with 6 1/2" out of it (planned 7" but left room for error).

As well I added in a couple of pieces for the header before I cut to make sure it retained it's shape.
