Yeah, Skanky is owned by a friend of mine, Bill Wendt. He is an old funny car driver, roundy car driver, and just generally a guy who has done it all. He raced Smokey Bear Funny Car, and ran at the Nationals a few times. Bill has a few other cars, and is "very comfortable" financially, but he absolutely loves Skanky and drives it almost every day. He loves the comments he gets, both pro and con, and must have the thickest skin ever. He just sits there on his lawn chair at shows and grins away.

Here are a couple more shots of it. BTW, the mailbox door is cable operated and is his "choke."

BTW, the black convertible next to Skanky is owned by Dick LaHaie, the famous drag racer. He and Bill go back a long way.
