Bout as good as I can do right now. Just picture this with 3-2's, a header and little chrome with a Ford blue block though it is a Chevy 250 hooked to a power glide. I do every day.:D

I just saw rat rod c-dan in one of the mags with a tank engine in it! Strange looking exhaust too! Cool!

If I am not mistaken, that was a flat head Cadillac engine.
They were used in pairs for the small Chaffee M-24 light tanks.
Look back a few posts (#243 to 248) in this thread at the Cad flatheads... '22

It was the M5A1 that had the twin Caddy flat heads, this is a picture of one I restored...they sound wicked stopped at a red light.

This is one of my all time favorite engine(s) pictures. It's hard to imagine just the sheer amount of thought that's invested in this car. Not to mention the money and labor! :eek: By the way, I didn't realize that the exhaust on those old Caddy engines was located above the heads like that??? Very cool!!

Hey DMW - - didn't the F4 Phantoms run a GE J79-2? If I remember from my military days that's what they were. The Corps also used the J79-2's for a land based launch & recovery system, using two big ole' diesel engines for the recovery part, along with a big ole' cable
