OK guys and gals....I just bought a Trans Am with a a 350 Tuned port and a 700R4 set up (oh yeah...a posi too...think it's a 3:42, but not sure)...anyway...the trans doesn't shift out of 1st gear. It goes in to gear immediately when shifting from neutral, but won't shift.....I was told it might be the pressure module something or other on the side of the transmission....any ideas?

Oh yeah...the motor sounds real good. Just need to figure out the trans deal then I'll have a complete swap for the Studebaker

Make it shift

Sounds like the modulator valve or that the vacuum line to it is not hooked up !

Thats what I was going to say but I couldnt remember if 700's had one or were electronic.
