first wisecrack

I was working with this rough bunch and they gave me the dozens hard core for the first couple weeks on the job. I couldn't figure out why they hated me so much.
Then my moment to earn some cred...
We were rolling out our tools on a job... the homeowner was standing there... our salesman arrived...
As he approached he said "good morning gentlemen"
Before anyone could say anything I looked em all in the eye and said...
"Gentlemen? Your half right they are gentle"


Turned out to be a great bunch of guys to work with, they just liked it hard and nasty
