I'd be worried obout those things hooking into the ground.

I was thinking the same thing, an end-over would not be fun. I'd put some skid pads up there & see if I could spark the place up! :D ISore

Yes, I have to agree. You need to do something too keep the
frame ends from digging in - maybe angle the ends with a skid
plate cap over the open ends.

Otherwise, it looks great.. Good use for old camshafts.. '22

i am putting an angle on the front of the frame and a cap truck is not done yet still working on finishing the small stuff

btw the front springs are stiff and dont move but an inch w/ me jumping on it

Glad to hear it, kind of figured you would.

The photo below is my old small block Chevy powered Healey from 30+ years ago.
The frame is underslung like your truck, the ends of the frame are angled
off right behind the front sheetmetal and are the lowest point of the car.
The top of the frame is even with the bottom of the front sheet metal.
The front tires were smaller than those in the photo, 5:00 X 15's.
I hit a gutter trough at the junction of an alley and street doing about 25 mph
one night, the frame hit the back side of the dip.
The impact physically hurt my wife and I... the car didn't like it either but no harm done.
Just trying to save you the experience.... '22
