Before I left Texas last year, I helped a good friend on his speedster build and I got to drive it. His was a Model A chassis, juiced up A engine with a Winfield cam, high compression head, weber downdraft and headers. He put a top shift 4 speed o/d tranny in it. What a hoot to drive.

I don't think I have ever seen an open wheel car on an S-10 chassis that didn't look like a turd tho. You end up with the radiator way out front and it just isn't a purdy front suspension to look at.

Maybe this....

This might be closer to what you have in mind as far as stance goes...

I don't know..

Is that a Steve Moal bodied car 22Dodge?

I don't know, Gastrick. I checked out Moal's web site, but didn't see it there.

I did find a cool, small cast aluminum scoop for a reasonable price,
if anyone is interested..:D

I Love the full polished tracker!!! Thanks for the ideas!!!!

I have a friend that has a couple of A cowls and some sedan roofs it may wind up being a pickup sans bed just so i can drive it in the colder months or maybe A lift off top.... I'm still fleshing out the detail of the body work. rolleyes:

Btw Im just using the engine trans and rear end out of the truck, the chassis will be a Model A or home fabbed with a beam axle and tranverse leafs front and rear.

I like how the early cars had the lil four bangers and manual trans so i thought one out of a ranger would would be perfect, cheap readily available, and the spee parts aint too pricey.
