Started tinkering with my '60 finally. Pulled the tank which was filled with 10 year old gas and gunk. Blew the fuel line out and doing a mock up keg tank in the trunk until I can get the original tank cleaned and sealed. Ran new brake lines, cleaned out the master cylinder and the carburetor. The car came with a Carter AFB 4 banger which I can't seem to get the car to idle with. Rebuilt it and all. I'll figure it out soon enough. Patched some holes in the pan, did a shade tree carpet job for the front floor board and put the steel wool on the body. Cleaned up pretty nice. I am having tranny issues. It's the original cast iron Powerglide so I can't just yank the sumbitch out. Hoping it's just the gaskets. It shifts into gear and all. Hopefully it will see the road soon. Here are a couple of pics. Keep building people.
