but the first half of the 70 run was a 69 body, i know the 70 1/2 had the 350. i had a 70 lt1 350 in a 77 3/4 ton chevy truck, rated at 365 hp at 6500 i believe, but it revved higher and never stopped pulling, i know i had some 7500 runs in it. truck would scare you out on the highway. i did hate the solid lifters too.


Yes, the second gen Camaro - 1970 to 1972 - did come with an LT1 in the Z28. It was 350 cid, 360 gross HP. You could not get a Z28 with AC until 1973.

Edit: I just re-read your post. No the first gen 1969 Camaro did not come with the LT1.

View attachment 106752 I didn't even know they made a car like this.. I thought it was somebody's custom car they made till I put it in on the internet and I don't know how to put the site on here , but its real. I love the look of it but it looks more like the 56 to me than a 57.

That might be something from South America? After a production line finished for in the USA, the dies would often be shipped elsewhere.
