my aunt sent me back some pics from south carolina @ the michelin test track of some new tires they are getting ready to test. just think of the impact these will have...

spike strips will no longer be effective.
"free" air at stations
tire repair costs

and you thought those 24's and spinners were all that!..... dp1

Those have been around for years. Ive seen em on forklifts, and front end loaders in dumps. Mainly used for instances where flat tires are common.

I cant imagine how they would work on a car though, highway speeds??? Pot holes?
 
I got an e-mail on those earlier this week. Man they would Not work out here in the midwest in the winter, they'd get plugged up in a hurry. " hey bubba I got a shake in the front end":D
 
I saw something about them in one of my four wheel drive magazines. I think they are calling them a "tweel".:rolleyes:
