hi guys I have a question I am just getting ready to box my frame I am using the stock model a frame , here's my question do you box all the way around the crossmember or just up to it , because if you box all the way around it the the crossmemberwould be welded in solid ,maybe not good
thanks guys

I've done this a few different ways. I did one setup where we removed all the cross members, boxed the frame rails then installed a Heidts independent front suspension and a Jag reared cross member as well as a transmission cross member. Another time we boxed the frame with the front and rear cross members in place. We removed the corner braces for the boxing then re-attached them after. This setup used a traditional suspension setup.

I don't see anything wrong with leaving the cross members in place, just make sure the rivots holding everything together are in good shape.
