Here are some photos and videos. I'm trying to figure out how to do this to my 26 tudor and still be able to see out and not drive with my knees in my chest. I keep coming back to these deep chops when considering my project.

some photos. If you put your cursor in the grey band next to the photo it will give you a page turn prompt:

They look ok first one is best ,but often cars like these the driver sits with his top half poking out the roof and it just looks ridiculous going down the road totally spoils the look ,the only way i could see to drive it would be have a lay down style seat and just one ,and when you come to a junction or roundabout to pull out of just hope for the best and floor it.

That second one is Paul Tracy the Indy driver...I think, sure looks like him. The radical style makes for a wild looking ride, but in reality they are more of a trailer queen/show car than a driver. If your less than 5 ft tall you might get away with it. But, to each his own, if thats what you want go for it.

Yes, he bought that car from a big crybaby on KB and changed the front end up & did some other stuff to it. Paul Tracy and others said it was a real POS that Tracy had to do a lot of work to it. The crybaby said that car was going to make him world famous. Kids!

All valid points and I appreciate the input. The only way I can see to do it and be drive-able would be to be sitting as far forward as possible, reclined , remove visor and the windshield header that the Ts have to improve vision. Then have the engine in the back to allow for an extended foot well under the hood where the engine used to be. There might even be enough room for a master cylinder, fuel tank, and battery under the hood.

Air bags would be necessary.

I'll be sure to mock it up to see if it will work before I take out any implements of destruction.

Getting in and out of the thing would be another story.

Thanks again

Motor in the front, just extend the steering wheel back farther and a reclined sportscar style seat.. Make the column tilt to the side for getting in/out. Also to make it way easier to get in and out, cut a section above the door and make it hinged up or connect it to the door. Or gull wing the doors/roof.

"Gull wing the doors/roof"
I like that idea
I have seen a photo of an old rat with lambo doors, but I don't think that I could pull that off.
How about using a 60s T-bird swing away steering column?

ET made some Tstyle wheels that I like
