Finally finished my Sporty so I'm taking a week or two off from working in the garage and I'm going to ride the hell out of this bike, then the rat rod project begins.

That's cool Flying Rat.I had a Ironhead for a very short time in 77 and have always wanted one again. This is my around town hot rod and I have a Shovelhead for long trips. Now I need to get started on my rat rod.

I bought the bike for 2300.It was a fairly stock bike with a horrible purple paint job. I have put about 1500 into it to get it where it is today. I must say that I do all of the work in my garage from wrenchin, weldin and fabrication to paint which saves me a lot of money. The engine just needed cosmetic work too and that saved me a bunch too.
