newbie with a not so traditional rat

Hi I am Hap and I have a rod that is made from a VW beetle. It has lot of things in common with older style rods such as 36 Ford headlamps, 27 Ford tail lights, no fenders, no top (a true roadster with no windows). Lowered, L78/15 bias ply whitewalls on chrome smoothies with baby moons in the rear and 5.60 15 bias ply whitewalls on the same in front. Front axle pushed forward 8 inches. Some day I will paint it. Heck I might get to prime it sometime this winter.

I saw this forum suggested to someone on the hamb for mentioning they had a rat rod.
