That's a great milestone to get it dirveable. You probably have a list of things to change after the test drive, eh?

Not too many,
Lube the leaf springs so they don't squeak.
Find another rim for the drivers side front it's bent.
Hook up front brakes (rear brakes won't be enough at speed).
Work on carb.

Our too do list is still quite large though. Lol

What is the front wheel originally from? Do you have a line on a replacement?

If it is a 17" Dodge Brothers (5x4.5 bolt pattern), I may be able to help.

Interior

2" of foam, some 3/4" plywood, staples, glue and a Mexican blanket make a pretty nice interior.

I also managed to get a title on it in my name, now to insure it and register it. A little more brake work and some wiring and we'll be ready for Beatersville.

It doesn't take a lot of money to build a cool hot rod when you are creative. The blanket is just right for the car.

Almost done!

Sabastian doing his thing!

We have also got the lights, front brakes, shocks, guages and speedometer hooked up. Its more fun driving it than it was building!
