Hmmm... maybe it wasn't really supposed to go with the car? The luggage rack thing seems almost feasible...

Personally, I thought it must be a seat pan or seat riser or something, but the ones in the Model A catalogs I have don't look anything like that. Weird.

It's 13" tall x 33.5" wide. Moon roof.... hmmm...

As Shea Laking said, It does resemble a luggage rack deck if the dimensions are right, but it would not be the correct piece for a Model A Ford.
